Reading the spec sheet

Its 1.8L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. That works out to about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

The Corolla in everyday use

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How it works

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Driver basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Your move

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
