2018 BYD e6: every figure
| MPG city (US) | 73 MPGe |
|---|---|
| MPG highway (US) | 71 MPGe |
| MPG combined (US) | 72 MPGe |
| Charge at 240 V | 5 hours |
| Luggage volume (litres converted from EPA's cubic feet) | 453 L (16 cu ft) |

Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Your e6 and paint protection film
For the 2018 BYD e6, paint protection film starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
About your e6
An electric car needs care around its charging port and sensors. A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
What to send us
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. You can add a rental to the same request.
Keep driving meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Aftercare
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
A few things first
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Planning around the work
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. We keep you posted if the timing changes.
What goes into a quote
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation.
