Your Taurus and paint protection film
Here is how we handle paint protection film for the 2017 Ford Taurus: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
About your Taurus
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a large sedan, it is a straightforward size for this work.
Booking the work
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected.
A rental while we work
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We collect the rental when your car is ready. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Planning around the work
Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
After the work
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges.
Why prices differ
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
