Your Goldacre: the work
For the Goldacre, paint protection film starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
The car itself
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
From request to appointment
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
A rental meanwhile
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Aftercare
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
What affects the price
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. We price the job before we start, never after.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
How long you are without it
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
