Collision replacement car: white 2019 Acura RDX Tech in Java

Renting the 2019 Acura RDX Tech

If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2019 Acura RDX Tech is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Java and the RDX

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 10-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 9.8 L/100 km: about 29 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $171.50.

Practical details

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who rents the RDX

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

In our fleet

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking, step by step

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Before you rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Over to you

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
