The figures, translated

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

How big it is

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Before pickup

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

What to expect when you book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
