Renting for Clair

Reading the spec sheet

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

What to expect when you book

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Talk to a person
