Under the hood

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What to expect from the A4

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Request, offer, keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What we need from you

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
