What the specs mean

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

What you need to rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
