Mitchell and the A4

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Mitchell. Mitchell is about 1,135 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Redore, Kitzville and Brooklyn are the neighbouring places on our list.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Living with the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The booking steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
