Pendleton and the A4

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Pendleton. Pendleton is about 829 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Around Pendleton you will also find Conway, Severn and Lewters Crossroad.

Under the hood

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Practical details

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can I rent it?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How a booking comes together

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
