What the specs mean

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Combined fuel use is 8.3 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Rent it from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

How to book

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before you rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
