Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Combined fuel use is 8.3 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Our A4 cars

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

What to expect when you book

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Rules for renters

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
