The figures, translated

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

How big it is

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can you rent one?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Checking your details

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

One more step

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
