What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

How big it is

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting this car from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Before you rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking in plain terms

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
