Engine and fuel

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Renting it

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Checking your details

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How it works

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
