Olin, Edwards and Orange Prairie are the closest places to Kickapoo on our list.

Engine and fuel

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

What to expect from the A4

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can I rent it?

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Booking, step by step

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
