What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

Room inside

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Getting this car from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

What we need from you

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How it works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

When you know your dates
