What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.0 L/100 km combined: about 24 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.40 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Getting the car booked

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Your move

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
