The A4 and Simplot

Neighbouring areas include Weitz, Enrose and Caldwell.

Under the hood

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 24 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.0 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, it costs about $12.40 to drive 100 km.

Good uses for the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

What to expect when you book

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
