The 2019 Audi Q5 Technik: Collision replacement car

If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2019 Audi Q5 Technik is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,072 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Next door to Java are Tara Village, South Side and Howe.

Engine and fuel

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 9.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 30 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $17.33, and a 300 km weekend about $51.99.

A good match for

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

What to expect from the Q5

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Booking with CarmaCars

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
