What the figures tell you

Power: the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo; drive: all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

By the EPA's combined rating of 10.2 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 31 litres. That works out to about $17.85 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the X3

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who rents the X3

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

What to expect when you book

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Driver basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
