About the 2020 Buick Encore
If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the 2020 Buick Encore is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Reading the spec sheet
The 1.3L 3-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Combined fuel use is 7.7 L/100 km: about 23 litres for 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $35.82 in energy at our price setting.
Who rents the Encore
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
The Encore in everyday use
As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier. Its length is 4.35 m, so it is mid-size. It fits most condo and driveway spots.
Rent it from us
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
How it works
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
Driver basics
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Talk to a person
Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
