Renting the 2012 Chrysler 200
For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2012 Chrysler 200 brings, and how to request one. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Specs, explained
The engine is the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 4-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
The EPA rates it at 9.8 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 29 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $45.57 in energy at our price setting.
Size and space
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 396 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Who rents the 200
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Can you rent one?
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What you need to rent
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
How a booking comes together
The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
Still deciding?
Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
