Collision replacement car: the Dodge D50
If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the Dodge D50 is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
How big it is
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
Who rents the D50
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Can I rent it?
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Renting: the basics
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
What happens when you ask for a car
Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
One more step
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.

How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?

Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
