The figures, translated
It runs the 3.5L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
The combined figure, 12.1 L/100 km, means roughly 36 litres for 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $56.28 at our price setting.
Living with the Flex
Being an SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.
Who rents the Flex
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.
Can you rent one?
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How a booking comes together
Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Before pickup
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Make a request
When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
