Collision replacement car: the 1987 GMC DK
For a car while yours is off the road, the 1987 GMC DK could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The numbers in plain words
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who rents the DK
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
What the DK is like
As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
Can I rent it?
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Before you rent
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
How a booking comes together
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Ready to ask?
Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
