Collision replacement car: the 2016 GMC Terrain
The 2016 GMC Terrain for a car while yours is off the road: the facts first, then the booking. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Engine and fuel
The powertrain to know here is the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 28 litres, from its 9.2 L/100 km rating. Every 100 km costs about $14.26 in fuel at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
How big it is
Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well. Luggage space is rated at 793 litres: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
In our fleet
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Checking your details
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Still deciding?
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
