The Civic and Java

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.0 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 21 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $108.50 at our price setting.

Living with the Civic

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting this car

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Checking your details

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How it works

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Next step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
