The Civic and Farmbrook

If you need it in Farmbrook itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Farmbrook is about 544 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

Neighbouring areas include Dogwood Hollow, Greenbrook and Oaktree Hollow.

Under the hood

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 21 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 6.9 L/100 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $10.70.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The trunk holds 736 litres by the EPA's count: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Good uses for the Civic

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Our Civic cars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Checking your details

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Getting the car booked

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Still deciding?

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
