Collision replacement car: white 2021 Honda Pilot EX in Ruby

Collision replacement car: the 2021 Honda Pilot EX

If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the 2021 Honda Pilot EX is worth a look; here is why. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Pilot and Ruby

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ruby starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Ruby is about 250 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Around Ruby you will also find Zadow, Castile and Silver Lake.

What the figures tell you

It uses the 3.5L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 10.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 31 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $161.20 at our price setting.

Living with the Pilot

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How renting with us works

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
