Collision replacement car: beige 2021 Honda Pilot LX in Edificios

Renting the 2021 Honda Pilot LX

For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2021 Honda Pilot LX brings, and how to request one. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Pilot and Edificios

We have no location in Edificios; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,316 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Edificios starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Forlones, Salto de Nogales and El Salto de Nogales are the neighbouring places on our list.

The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 3.5L 6-cylinder, driving through a 9-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 10.4 L/100 km, means roughly 31 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $48.36 at our price setting.

Living with the Pilot

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

When the Pilot makes sense

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Our Pilot cars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

The booking steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
