The Isuzu Trooper: Collision replacement car
Want the Isuzu Trooper as a car while yours is off the road? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
The figures, translated
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the Trooper is like
An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.
When the Trooper makes sense
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Can I rent it?
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
How to book
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
The rules, briefly
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Let us know
Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.

Collision replacement car: the Isuzu Trooper
Can I rent a Isuzu Trooper in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
