The Sorento and Java

Next door to Java are Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated at 9.0 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 27 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.95 at our price setting.

How big it is

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

From request to keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before pickup

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

One more step

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
