Renting the 2011 Lexus GX
Here is the 2011 Lexus GX, for anyone after a car while yours is off the road. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
What the figures tell you
It runs the 4.6L 8-cylinder, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.
At 13.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 41 litres of fuel. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $24.15.
When the GX makes sense
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
The GX in everyday use
It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Renting: the basics
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
The steps
Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
Send a request
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
