Renting the 2017 Lexus GX
Renting the 2017 Lexus GX as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Under the hood
It runs the 4.6L 8-cylinder, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.
By the EPA's combined rating of 14.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 44 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $76.65 at our price setting.
The GX in everyday use
An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

How it works
You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Driver basics
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
