Collision replacement car with this car
Renting the 2011 Lexus LS as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Engine and fuel
Its 5.0L 8-cylinder hybrid drives through an automatic (CVT). As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
It is rated 11.5 L/100 km combined: about 35 litres every 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $53.49 at our price setting.
Living with the LS
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 283 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Best uses
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.
Can I rent it?

What to expect when you book
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Before you rent
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
