Collision replacement car: the 2017 Lexus LS

Renting the 2017 Lexus LS as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 4.6L 8-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 12.3 L/100 km works out to about 37 litres per 300 km. That works out to about $21.53 per 100 km at our price setting.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 396 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the LS makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can you rent one?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

What you need to rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your booking, in three steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
