Collision replacement car and the 2016 Lexus RC
The 2016 Lexus RC is on this page for collision replacement car: here is what to know before you request one. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
What the specs mean
The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Plan on about 27 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.1 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $159.30 at our price setting.
When the RC makes sense
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Room inside
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 283 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Renting it
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Your booking, in three steps
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
Before pickup
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
