About the 2005 Maybach 57

Collision replacement car: the 2005 Maybach 57. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain to know here is the 5.5L 12-cylinder turbo, with rear-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Plan on about 54 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 18.1 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $316.80 at our price setting.

The 57 in everyday use

As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting one from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

What happens when you ask for a car

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Licence, age and card

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
