Specs, explained
The powertrain here is the 1.5L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Rated at 7.6 L/100 km combined, it needs around 23 litres for a 300 km round trip. Expect about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.
How big it is
As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Who the 2 suits
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Can I rent it?

How it works
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Before pickup
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
