The 1989 Mazda B Pickup: Collision replacement car

Want to know if the 1989 Mazda B Pickup suits a car while yours is off the road? Read on. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Specs, explained

Power comes from the 2.2L 4-cylinder, driving through a 4-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Expect about 35 litres for every 300 km, going by its 11.8 L/100 km combined rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $54.87 at our price setting.

Space and size

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

Who the B Pickup suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed.

Our B Pickup cars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
