The MINI: Collision replacement car
If you need a car while yours is off the road, the MINI is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Getting one from us
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have no MINI on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Checking your details
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
Booking with CarmaCars
A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Can I rent a MINI in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
