Collision replacement car: silver 2018 Nissan Kicks SR in Java

Renting the 2018 Nissan Kicks SR

If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the 2018 Nissan Kicks SR is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Java and the Kicks

Java is about 3,178 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

The pages for Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction cover the areas next door.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 1.6L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 22 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.2 L/100 km combined rating. Driving 300 km costs roughly $33.48 at our price setting.

The Kicks in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 708 litres of luggage space, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who rents the Kicks

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can I rent it?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

From request to keys

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
