Renting for Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 770 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Specs, explained

The 1.6L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 7.1 L/100 km, means roughly 21 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $110.10 at our price setting.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 708 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Good uses for the Kicks

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Driver basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

How it works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Over to you

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
