Specs, explained

The powertrain to know here is the 1.6L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 7.1 L/100 km combined: about 21 litres every 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $33.03 at our price setting.

The Kicks in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. In plain terms, its 708 litres of luggage space hold bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who it is for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking made plain

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Renting: the basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
