Collision replacement car with this car
If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2011 Nissan Leaf is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The figures, translated
The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with front-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
For every 100 km it uses about 21.1 kWh. Its rated range is 117 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. That works out to about $3.17 per 100 km at our price setting.
Practical details
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 651 litres means bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who the Leaf suits
It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Driver basics
At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
