Under the hood

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 22 litres of fuel. Every 100 km costs about $11.32 in fuel at our price setting.

Who rents the Sentra

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is 396 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Requesting a car

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Renting: the basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
