The Pontiac Sunfire: Collision replacement car
If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the Pontiac Sunfire is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Engine and fuel
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Space and size
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Renting the Sunfire from CarmaCars
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Driver basics
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
How renting with us works
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
When you know your dates
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.

Can I rent a Pontiac Sunfire in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
