What the figures tell you

It uses the 5.7L 8-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

By the EPA's combined rating of 13.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 41 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $21.08 at our price setting.

What the 1500 is like

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

A good match for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Our 1500 cars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay.

Requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

What to expect when you book

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
